Wes Clough brings a distinctive blend of military discipline, entrepreneurial leadership, and financial insight to Franklin Capital Strategies. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served as a Nuclear Engineer aboard the USS Harry S. Truman from 2000–2005. This role required rapid mastery of complex systems, providing Wes with a broad understanding of how people, processes, and operations integrate—a perspective he now uses to help clients align their financial lives.
Following his service, Wes spent nearly two decades building and managing hospitality businesses in Northern Virginia. As a multi-concept restaurant owner, he gained hands-on experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and long-term performance strategy. This background allows him to translate complex financial data into actionable priorities for business owners.
Wes also brings significant real estate experience, having managed residential and multifamily assets and participated in syndications. His expertise in navigating financing structures and evaluating property equity further enhances his ability to guide clients through wealth-building decisions.
A lifelong Arlingtonian, Wes lives in the community with his wife and two daughters. He stays active in CrossFit and volunteers as a youth sports coach.
