Broderick L. Young is a graduate of the University of Florida where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Finance and Insurance. While working with New York Life he has obtained the designations of Certified Financial Planner^®, Chartered Life Underwriter^®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Leadership Fellow^®, and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living^®.

Broderick joined New York Life Insurance Company in 2000 as an agent and registered representative in the South Florida General Office. Before deciding to transition into management, he was the Leading New Sales Associate in the South Florida General Office in 2001 and 2002. He has held positions in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, Orlando, Florida, in the Greater Washington General Area, and is currently one of the Product Consultants for the South Central Zone.

Broderick is able to assist your agent and his/her clients with many aspects of insurance and retirement planning. From risk management to estate planning, he has supported many agents’ help to achieve their clients’ financial goals. Roger Banville brings 26 years of financial services experience, during which time, he has experienced the stability only Mutual companies can provide to investors.. After witnessing New York Life deliver the such unparalleled security to its clients, in 2012 he received an opportunity to join the Forbes top 60. He is now responsible for Investments and Retirements in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Roger started his career as a financial planner for John Hancock in 1992. Prior to New York Life, he was a Vice President of Sales at Walton International, he grew the Mid-Atlantic territory to number one in the company; served as a Director of Annuities at MassMutual, where he tripled the territories in just 18 months; and John Hancock Regional Vice President of Annuities where he built a territory from scratch to 24% market share. Throughout the years he has been called on to work with financial planners at all types companies; Insurance Agencies, Banks, Wire houses, Independent Broker/Dealers, as well as Investment Advisor’s.

Roger is a well accomplished professional speaker, having given hundreds of client workshops and seminars over the years, and being key note speakers at industry meetings.

Roger’s success has been his passion for crafting financial strategies and assisting investors, helping them make smart decisions and achieve their lifetime financial goals. He believes key components to a good financial plan maximizes returns, mitigates risk and minimizes taxes, should lead investors to overall happiness and success.

In addition to the education gained from industry experience from the last 26 years, Roger earned an undergraduate B.S.B.A from Creighton University with majors in Finance and Economics and an M.B.A from Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Matthew began his career with New York Life in the summer of 2013 as an agent in the Westchester General Office. During that time Matt worked primarily with a mature demographic and focused on implementing sound retirement protection, accumulation, and distribution plans. After attending the Executive Council Meeting in Nashville, TN, Matt joined the Sales Desk as an Internal Product Consultant for the Long-Term Care Options Team. Most recently, has taken on the role of Long-Term Care Product Consultant in the West Central Zone.

Matt believes the Long-Term Care industry is one that is underserved and creates a tremendous opportunity for agents to generate additional income while helping their clients protect retirement income and assets. His experience as an agent, knowledge of New York Life’s LTC Options suite, and understanding of the competitive landscape allows him to help agents effectively implement LTC Solutions into their practice. Matt works with agents to identify existing opportunities within their client base as well as develop marketing and selling systems that enable them convert prospects to new clients.

Mark Jansen is a Corporate Vice President and Advanced Planning Consultant for New York Life Insurance Company, serving the agents of the South Central Zone. Mark is an engaging presenter and skillful consultant, collaborating with agents, their clients and their clients’ professional advisors in the areas of estate, tax and business succession planning.

Mark joined New York Life with over twenty years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has worked with prominent life insurance companies as advanced marketing counsel; and, in several positions for the design and sales of variable and investment-driven insurance products. He has also marketed insurance products through banks and credit unions.

Mark brings a creative and comprehensive approach to using insurance products in estate and business planning. He is known for his practical teachings and conversational style of presentation, speaking frequently to groups about the proper use of insurance in buy-sell agreements and estate plans. Mark’s collaborative approach and technical knowledge positions him as a skillful and insightful specialist.

Mark received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School (cum laude); and, began his professorial career in the tax department of a nationally prominent accounting firm.

John joined the FCS team first as an intern in 2022 before returning full time in 2023. As a Client Relationship Associate, John supports Paul in various client matters. John has a phenomenal work ethic and ensures that all client matters are handled with the utmost care. As an Associate Financial Adviser, he holds his FINRA Series 7, 66, Life, Health & Annuities licenses.

John is a recent graduate of Fairfield University with a B.S. in Economics, where he played rugby and was recognized as a National Collegiate Rugby Division I Academic All-American. When not working, he enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and supporting the Washington Capitals. John currently resides in Arlington, VA.

Matt became a member of the Franklin Capital team in 2018 and specializes in investment and financial planning. Matt prides himself in is ability to provide in-depth portfolio analysis while also coming up with strategic solutions to provide value through techniques such as enhanced diversification and risk reduction.

Matt’s financial services career began 13 years ago at MetLife at the age of 21. While at MetLife, Matt was able to gain a good understanding of the Financial Services industry and began soaking up as much knowledge as he could about all the different products and services available. Over the course of his time there, he transitioned into a role where he began specializing in “case design” and assisting with strategic solutions to present to high net worth prospects that helped achieve their goals & objectives.

When Matt is not in the office you can probably find him chasing after one of his 7 children. Matt and his wife Melissa are proud parents to their 5 sons Landon, Oliver, Trent, Brooks & Graham and their 2 daughters Rose & Vivian. Matt and his family currently reside in Leesburg, VA.

Matt is a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities LLC and an Investment Adviser Representative with Eagle Strategies LLC. He holds a FINRA Series 7 and 66. Matt graduated from Susquehanna University in 2011 with a BS in Business Administration and a dual emphasis on Marketing & Information Systems.
